Malik advises pension funds, institutions, and private clients on long-term investment strategy, governance frameworks, and portfolio growth. He is a CFA Charterholder, holds an MBA from UNICAF, and earned his Bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Botswana. His CFA preparation was completed through Arthur Portland.

Career Background

Malik’s professional journey began as a part-time lecturer, teaching finance to university students. He later joined the wealth advisory field, helping retail clients access offshore investment opportunities. In 2022, he transitioned into institutional advisory—supporting investment committees, large funds, and corporate decision-making.

He continues to lecture part-time and is widely recognised for his passion for financial literacy, delivering programmes for youth, parents, small businesses, and creatives. His recent interest in content creation has allowed him to expand his reach and make financial education more accessible across Botswana.

Standout Achievement: Completing CFA Level 2 in four months.
