The required hardware for this video features Raspberry Pi (recommended Raspberry Pi 3 or 4), IKEA TRÅDFRI lightning bulbs with remote controls, IKEA TRÅDFRI Gateway and a smartphone (iOS or Android) with the installed and configured TRÅDFRI mobile application. The IKEA TRÅDFRI Gateway is a Zigbee to Ethernet bridge.

OpenHAB2 is running on Raspberry Pi from a microSD card with Openbian, a GNU/Linux distribution based on the Raspberry Pi OS (previously known as Raspbian):
