Meaning "affectionate one," is a traditional Filipino courtship dance from Panay and Visayas. It's performed in pairs with elegant footwork, fans, and handkerchiefs, similar to a waltz, and is recognized as a national dance in the Philippines.
Our FCN’s theme this year is “Saan Ka Na?” meaning “Where are you?” in Tagalog. This reflects Kapwa’s inclusivity and goal to be a safe space for everyone no matter where you are in one’s cultural journey. The organization serves as a platform for members to connect with Filipino heritage, build community, and learn.
