This piece of "orange wood" was leftovers from another project and was destined for the scrap bin. But I saw a Queen hiding inside it.
In this video, I take a small, odd-shaped offcut and put it on the lathe. The goal is to turn it into the most powerful piece on the chessboard: the Queen. This project is all about precision, patience, and getting those classic curves exactly right. It's amazing what you can create from wood that others might throw away.
