When I hear ‘O little town of Bethlehem’ it just gives me such a sense of peace 🕊️

I was singing it on the piano 🎹 this week and we sang it at two carol services 🕯️ this week as well. And it is always a joy to sing! 😊

It is a peaceful thing to think of the Nativity! 🤱🏽The birth of Jesus Christ! ✝️The Saviour of the World. 🌍

Oh what it is a peace to know that God sent His Son to die for me! ✝️🌍
The peace to know the sacrifice has been paid! 💰❌
The peace of knowing there is no punishment left for me! ⚔️🛡️
The peace to know that Jesus paid it all for me! ✝️💰🌍

[7] And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

The last verse is like a prayer. 🙏🏽🕊️

‘Our Lord Emmanuel’

Do you mean it when you sing it? 🎤🎶
Do you long and yearn to be in the presence of the Lord? 🫂
Do you have that desire? ♥️

That is what Emmanuel means!
God with us! 🌍🫂 ✝️♥️

If you don’t want to spend time in His presence now on earth, ✋🏽why do you think you would want / enjoy to spend eternity with Him in Heaven? 😇 🤷🏽‍♀️

Learn to love to be in the presence of Jesus! ♥️🫂 For it is a glimpse of Heaven on this side of Eternity. 😇🌍
