Welcome to the recording of our first MENA Webinar Festival - all for teachers of young learners! We provided three talks by three wonderful experts on teaching Young Learners, covering topics such as Empathy, Curiosity and Writing Skills and providing practical tips and activities to bring into your young learner classrooms.
In the first session, Sarah Hillyard explored Learning English with Empathy and how to create emotionally-safe classrooms that allow our students to feel safe, valued and to thrive.
In the second session, Donna Shaw delved into Curiosity as a vessel and foundation for communicative competence, with 5 suggested classroom strategies to help teachers tap into students natural curiosity.
In the third session, Ola Refaat introduced a fresh, seamless approach to developing writing skills - helping teachers with some simple techniques to build strong writing outcomes through small, purposeful activities woven throughout the unit we are teaching.
