having set my alarm for just after 6am, I had breakfast in bed and got ready.. in my usual style I then did a good bit of faffing about in the shed to get my bike ready, setting off and quickly returning, having forgotten the freshly charged battery for the SRAM axs derailleur 🫣😂
finally ready, I found myself pushed for time and had to ride at almost race pace to make it to Brixworth country parkrun for 9am. My wife, Jen, was planning to run and chose to drive there and take my kit so I could change on arrival.
