Hi Donkey owners and donkey enthusiasts! We KNOW!! The flies are eating your donkeys! Did you know that flies are drawn to donkeys (even more than horses) because of the lubricant in their skin has a very strong scent. And, did you know that some donkeys have more of it and their scent is greater than others, which makes them more susceptible to insects?!? YEP!
Sadly, it is that lubricant that is the source of the product Ejiao (aka donkey hide) which is a product that's been used in chinese medicine with no real results. Making that product is why millions of donkeys are slaughtered every year.
