2,5 years of experience of recovering from a mental burnout. Its been the most difficult time of my life, but also the most giving. I used to spend 3 hours per day at the gym as exercising was my favorite hobby and all of a sudden I could no longer do any kind of exercising, it was in fact unthinkable. However, during my journey I understood that I have to change how I think about my workouts and how I approach it. And the most important of all, to learn how to listen to my body. If you are in a similar situation, you know how hard it is hard to understand how you now function. How hard can you actually push yourself in order not to ones again burn out, but still be going forward on your recovery journey.
