Crystal Skull, an Italian power/speed metal project led by Claudio "The Reaper" Livera, released Arcane Tales in July 2025 via Underground Symphony Records. The album, the second chapter in a fantasy trilogy that began with Ancient Tales (2020), features a full lineup with drummer Fabio Tomba and vocalist Lorenzo Nocerino, as well as guests Carlo Venuti and Emma Salerno. Arcane Tales continues the epic saga of three heroes (Turok, Regdar, and Erevyn) in a devastated world, with a more mature and powerful sound rooted in Teutonic power metal, featuring epic choruses, fast riffs, and grandiose melodies, inspired by bands like Gamma Ray and Blind Guardian.
