1914 Haunted Jailhouse Explore - "Looks Like Alcatraz" - Prisoner Ghost Stories, Attempted Escape

In Part 2, we leave the main museum area to head through the cold locked door that takes you into the different levels of the prison in Chester, South Carolina.

I was anxious to see what condition the old jailhouse would be in and it did not disappoint as it stood there as it did all the way back in 1914, but now barring its age and chilling remnants from the past.

My guide Liz knew all the ins and outs of this haunted corrections facility that remains atop and below the museum itself. She filled me in on many of the eerie stories from the past and present, including one from the most well-known prisoners here, Billy. An inmate who was locked up here for years, and apparently still visits often, with many stories of his voice being heard. One story, in particular, is shared within this video by Liz, who serves as the Administrator of the Chester County Historical Society Museum, and also the guide and a fountain of knowledge during any visit here...and I can guarantee her story is quite a spooky one!
