Hi everyone! I'm known for doing over the top, extravagant embroidery for my costumes. However, for the first year and a half, I did all of it on a one needle, starter home embroidery machine. I would like to give some tips, tricks, and explanations on how to get started in machine embroidery, from which machine to buy (and what features to look for in every budget), to what needle to use, and what stabilizer to buy. I used a Baby Lock Pathfinder to demonstrate this, as I no longer have my first machine and this is the currently available equivalent to that machine, in both price and function.
