This is the first video of Steam Locomotives in their Heyday. This first video is of the Magestic A4 Pacific's. Designed by Sir Nigel Gresley, they were the fastest and arguably the finest express passenger locomotives in the world. The Most famous of the class, no.4468 "Mallard" set the world record for steam traction when the went 126 mph. 39 of the class were built, 6 surviving into preservation.
