Fascinating 19th Century Historical Portraits (1800s)

► Hello everyone and welcome back to Mystery Scoop. In this collection we're going to see a few historical figures who were lucky to have lived through a crucial historical period when photography was being born and started to redefine history. Before the invention of photography we mostly relied on statues and paintings to help us imagine how some historical figures would have looked like. But seeing them in flesh, it certainly was a game changer and this is what photography offered from 19th century onwards, by showing the true likeness of the subjects. People like Conrad Heyer, who was born in 1749, lived to the age of 103 and was captured here via daguerreotype in 1852. He's considered to be the earliest American to be photographed. If it wasn't for photography, many interesting historical characters could have easily become nothing more than a name on a page. Now, lets have a look at some more historical photos from this period and see what we could have easily missed had it not been for the happening of photography.
