Diving into this record I truly had no idea where their sound was going to take me. All I knew was that Nine Inch Nails were doing the record for the new Tron movie. Gee what an intense record this one was, a listen that will stick with me for quite some time. The lyricism and themes throughout this record are undeniably heavy and contain some pretty intense themes. Some themes prevalent on this record speak to very real issues we can all face in our lives. Join me this week as I experience 'The Downward Spiral' for the first time.
