Lazy day out at Hampton Downs Motorsport park on the wet skidpan, for the May 2025 event.
My cousin brought his Toyota Altezza drift hack / party car out for it's first proper test - did pretty well! It's more or less stock standard, powered by the 3SGE BEAMS motor, back by the 6 speed manual gearbox and factory LSD. Only mod's so far are Tein coilovers and some form of custom angle kit for better steering geometry with a good wheel alignment to suit. Also features a LHD handbrake conversion to put the lever closer to the driver.
It's a much different car to drive compared to the 1JZ JZX90 Toyota Chaser he usually takes on the skidpan, but the man got the hang of it in no time. A bit more track time, and the Altezza will be getting closer to riding the walls!
