THE EXACT PANORAMA WE WANT! A1GP in Bathurst

Okay, so I jumped ahead to another new circuit because the Bathurst 12 Hour is already upon us. But don't worry, I'll finish the Bahrain series later on.

Here's the A1 onboard lap at Mount Panorama/Wahluu Circuit in its current layout (since 1987).

Home of the Bathurst 12 Hour and the Bathurst 1000 (from Supercars), it's a 6.213 km (3.861 mi) long street circuit, which is used as a public road when no racing events are being run, with many residences which can only be accessed from the circuit.

Before European settlement, the area was home to the Wiradjuri people. The Wiradjuri called Mount Panorama Wahluu, meaning "to watch over", and it was an initiation site for young men. According to Dreamtime, a warrior named Wahluu was killed by his brother in a dispute over a young woman – the blood spill upset Baiame, who caused a volcanic eruption around Wahluu's body to form the mountain of today.

1. I don't have any sim racing cockpit, so I use AI drive to make the onboard video.
