High Density Mango Plants in the Desert (Arizona 9B) Tour / Update

I garden in the hot Sonoran desert just West of Phoenix, Arizona. Mango trees can grow in our climate if provided shade in summer and frost protection in winter. Come see my growing mango collection. I started with a Nam Doc Mai about 4 years ago and now have nearly 30 mango plants growing (in-ground and container culture). Now I simply use 1 part peat moss to 1 part decomposed granite (or all-purpose sand) to 1 part coarse perlite
