This version is supposed to be a bit fairer than the previous ones. While a few things got nerfed, other stuff got made worse. The press dpad down to not die code is the most fucked one. There are 2 versions of that now, for one you have to press it fast enough, for the other one you are not supposed to hit dpad down. The problem is I didn't realize that during the entire playthrough, since there was only one version of that code in previous updates of the game. Very fun when you are at 99 coins with the next coin right next to you or you just get the most fucked combination of all time (7:32:23)
For the most parts I stayed more calm than during my 3.0 testing, but lategame still pissed me of a lot. Especially B3 reds and RR carpet was the worst.
Also the amount of bs between 3:14:43 and 3:22:23 for such a random star is absurd.
