This is the Kolkata Yellow Line Metro which is inagurated by our Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 22nd August, 2025 and the route is operational from Jai hind Bimanbandar - Noapara. Actually the Yellow Line streches till Barasat from Noapara and the second phase is still underconstruction.
This metro line helps the passengers from Kolkata Airport, Birati, Madhyamgram area to directly avail the Blue Line (North-South) Metro from the Noapara interchanging point skipping the mighty crowd of Dum Dum.
