This video documents the installation of leveling feet, levelling the lathe, and changing the Headstock oil. The lathe also enjoys a kerosine spar for the first time.
During the QCTP Tool Holder Tree build, I identified some inaccuracies with the Colchester. During that video I committed to a maintenance day for this lathe.
Well, that is today! We also explore some of the history of this machine and explore the possibilities for a full deep dive to g o through all of the Colchester specifications in an upcoming video.
After this service, the Colchester is running better than it has ever run.
