Ocean Conservation Wonder Bonaire's Jeff Davis Memorial ep. 39 | A Diver's Life

Ocean Conservation is more important now than ever. In this episode you will witness a real success story on Bonaire - the Jefferson C. Davis Memorial reef. Named after one of the founders of hyperbaric medicine you will learn about this legend and why the site was named after him. You will also witness the success stories of one of the first outplantings of coral on Bonaire. At this reef, a massive Staghorn coral field was planted bringing in parrotfish that have caused the entire surrounding reef to grow and thrive. You will see this amazing reef in the day and at sunset and see some very cool creatures such a crafty octopus, a Permit, a very animated Scorpionfish, some spectacular razorfish up close, and much more. For cinematographers and photographers this site is a dream. The sun balls at the end of the day fire brilliant light beams over the reef as you will certainly see. Filmed in High Dynamic Range, we feel this is one of the most beautiful episodes we have produced.
