If you've tried Gorilla Tape, or Duct Tape or other ways to protect your kayak keel, you know they don't stand up well. In this video I walk you through how to make a keel guard from Kydex. I'm not a DIY guru, but this was just too easy to pass up. Making a Kydex keel guard is a much better option that cheap Gorilla Tape keel guards, or $150 pre-manufactured guards.
