Last month I posted a video (my first "Short" ) of one of the two bands I worked with last year. This is the other one, a '90s country tribute band that stayed busy playing mostly festivals and civic events across the state. The members were Tim Hair (lead vocals), Jeff Eisemann (drums), Hayden Drake (acoustic guitar), Charles Wilson (bass) and me (electric guitar).
This clip was made at Riverfest, in Eden, NC on a warm September afternoon.
"Watermelon Crawl" was a huge hit for Tracy Byrd in 1994. Brent Mason plays a great guitar solo on the studio recording. I stick to what he played on the first half of the solo, then take some liberties on the second half. I hope you enjoy the song!
