Part 1 (Jo):
Jo explores hope from Isaiah 9 and Isaiah 40. Biblical hope isn’t wishful thinking; it’s an active, enduring trust in a Person. Like strands of a rope, we bind our lives to the Lord, gaining strength as we wait. Jo shows how Jesus is God’s promised gift—often not the rescue we expect, but exactly the rescue we need: forgiveness, inner freedom, peace in the storm, and the quiet assurance that God is at work even when we can’t see it.
Part 2 (Jeremy):
Jeremy asks, “What does this gift consist of?” and unpacks the four names: Wonderful Counselor (divine wisdom for real decisions), Mighty God (power to sustain and transform), Everlasting Father (tender, faithful care), and Prince of Peace (shalom that grows as His rule grows in us). The invitation is simple and practical: behold Jesus, receive His gift, and choose a daily “yes” to His government—so wisdom, strength, love, and peace become your lived reality.
