Some days on the bank just click, right from the start, and every thing just go's from good to better. Other days, you need to bide your time and be patient, in the hope that things will eventually kick off. And on the odd, bizarre day, both of these can be the case.
Day three of our latest trip to the Trent was one of these strange occasions. One couldn't do wrong, while the other, a mere 50 feet along the bank, would have been better staying in bed.
Nevertheless, determination and sheer stubbornness is often the answer, and if you're stubborn enough things will turn out just fine.... Hopefully?
