A batch of 12 Flight Divers successfully completed the Basic Flight Diver course

A batch of 12 Flight Divers including 07 from Coast Guard successfully completed the Basic Flight Diver course and were awarded ‘Wings’ by the Officer-in-Charge, School for Naval Airmen #SFNA at a ceremony held at the School on 10 September 2021. The event marked the culmination of 49 weeks of intensive training that comprised both theoretical and practical training including two weeks Work-up phase at Command Clearance Diving Team (Kochi), eleven weeks attachment to Diving School for Diving and #SAR phase, 21 weeks Flying Training phase at 321 Garuda Flight and training/ firing on LMG/ MMG at Sea Front Range, INS Dronacharya. In addition, the trainees also underwent capsules at Observer and Seamanship Schools, School for Naval Oceanography and Meteorology, Command Sports Office and Naval Institute of Aeronautical Technology. The CNS trophy for standing first in order of merit was awarded to Nikhil Kumar Singh, SSR Log (F&A), and Kalpesh Kumar Kampa U/NVK (RP) was adjudged second in the course. #HarKaamDeshKeNaam
