Our latest transformation in Northfield, Illinois showcases how a tired exterior can come back to life with the right prep and the right mineral-based system.

Before staining, the home had minor masonry repairs completed, along with fresh stucco applied on the dormers. Once repairs were finished, Midwest Brick Stain applied Eco-Prim followed by our Sol-Silicate stone & brick stain in a brand-new custom color — Shoji White.

Why Shoji White?

The original brick had multiple clashing tones, fading, and uneven color patches — especially next to the home’s new roof and window installation. The client wanted a lighter, warm white that would modernize the home while still feeling soft and timeless.

Shoji White is the perfect balance: a clean white with a subtle touch of beige to bring warmth and harmony without looking stark.
