Home-baked pitas are always better than store-bought. These hand kneaded pitas are soft and fluffy and the recipe is super easy!

Ingredients:
300g - all-purpose flour
15g - whole wheat flour (or replace with all purp flour)
4g – instant yeast*
5g – salt
10g – sugar
190g warm water
Vegetable oil – 20g
You also can use dry yeast instead instant yeast. Pour dry yeast and sugar in water. Let sit until yeast is bubbly about for 10 minutes. Then add it in bowl with the other ingredients.
If you bake on baking stone let the stone heat up for at least 20 minutes or the pita won’t puff properly.
You can bake this pita on skillet as well. Preheat the skillet until hot and bake without oil.
Store pitas in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
