Session started with a little plod out with barely enough wind to move, which then faded to nothing. Sailed through some pretty intense rain, probably some of the worst I have seen. Then it all went quiet for 45min.
Then it kicked in properly. I sail out in virtually nothing and then was maxed by the end of the session, The Phoenix is a nice little board to ride, very easy going and actually has an okay turn of speed once the power is there. I hit a log or something in the water early on and was probably lucky not to trash the fin or the sail- the high tides have brought lots of stuff floating around. Some great runs. Did nearly fall afoul of some absolute twat of a kitesurfer deciding to start heading, quite stupidly into my space following a (his) crash. Such is life. Lovely session.
