3rd Generation Ford Taurus - Was the Jelly Bean that bad?

1996 brought an entirely new looking Ford Taurus to the Marketplace. Jack Telnak who had designed many of Fords best sellers such as the 79 Mustang, 83 Ford Thunderbird and the first generation Ford Taurus had oversight on this redesign and began work in 1991.

He wanted the Taurus to stand out from the crowd. He worked in the oval look into almost every aspect of the car. The Ford Taurus was the Bestselling car in America going into this redesign. The question at Ford was would this redesign be another hit for the Telnak design team? Today we are going to take a look at the 3rd generation Ford Taurus and try to answer that question at the end of the video.
