Our Holiday to Pemberton, Western Australia

Pemberton is located approx. 320kms south of Perth and approx. 120kms east of Augusta, in the heart of the Karri forests of WA's south west.
Originally a saw milling town, it's now a thriving farming, wine, apple and avacado growing region, along with tourism.
The Bibbulmum Track (a 1000km walk trail from Kalamunda, east of Perth, to Albany) and the Munda Biddi Trail (a 1000km off road cycling track) pass through Pemberton.
During our stay, we visited many of the local attractions and tourist spots, but there is still so much more to see and do. These included:
Gloucester Tree, Cascades, Beedelup Falls, The Walk Through Tree, Yeagarup Lake, Yeagarup Dunes, Yeagarup beach where the Warren River meets the Southern Ocean, Mount Chudarup.
However, the trout and marron farm was closed.
Surrounded by the Warren and D'Entrecasteaux National Parks, a park permit is required. These can be purchased online or at the various park stations in the parks.
