Waterfall Šum
A partly steep but always well-protected path leads us to the Šum waterfall, which is located on the Nemiljšica stream. The waterfall is hidden in a basin shaped like a tall pitcher, it is 22 meters high and forms a deep pool. It is interesting how the abundantly watery stream forms a waterfall: first, two jets fall into the upper pool, merge and fall together into the middle pool, from where the water rushes in a single jet into the third and deepest drop, which creates a waterfall: half of it flows in strong jets to the left, and half of it is sprayed to the right in a triangle (a strong spray in winter creates an icy curtain on the right slope, at the exit from the pitcher-shaped basin).
