try to play in time without rhythm section

I saw this vid of Benny Benack doing this. It's been a while since i've practise some timing stuff. I should get back in to it more because i feel my time is a bit slacking sometimes recently. This is not perfect by any means, if you tap along you'll have to adjust a few times. But it's not that bad, I thought it would've been worse. My lines are completely different when i play alone and i tend to play to the 1 a lot (which i don't do normally, i think?). Also when i play 8th notes i've noticed i rush quite a lot, same with triplets. I also feel like i HAVE TO outline every chord to keep the time going, leading to me playing the same stuff constantly in certain places (like bar 9 and 10, the Bb to Eb7#11). A little more relaxed playing and space i think overall could fix the rushing and the constant lining out of chords. But yea, i recommend you do this, its very fun.
