I'm stoked that I can finally do cable/stack-loaded dips on the Rep Fitness Ares 2.0! This wasn’t possible on the 1.0 due to the cable routing, where the cable ran down the front of the uprights.
By moving the swivel pulleys to the outer position of the trolley on the Ares 2.0, REP not only increased the width for a better stretch during chest movements but also eliminated cable interference. This change opens up new possibilities—like this setup and the ability to connect lever/jammer arms to the cable system, which I will also be testing soon.
