Eva Green joined director Roman Polanski and co-star Emmanuelle Seigner for the Cannes Film Festival premiere of "Based on a True Story."
Screening out of competition at the festival, the thriller stars Green as a character known simply as "L" – a deeply mysterious woman who befriends actress Emmanuelle Seigner's writer Delphine.
The tale marks Seigner's fifth film with husband Polanski.
Based on a novel by Delphine de Vigan, the film also stars Vincent Perez and Alexia Seferoglou.
