This is the one purple light on this channel that isn't quite stock. It's a second gen board in a first gen shell. Long story short, I had the NOS dome and shell but not the correct white LED board to go with it. I settled on buying an NOS second gen board. Given this isn't fully stock, and because I'm a purist, I wouldn't have put this up on the channel except for the fact that it's a rare dome and I do know the full stock light was made (the collector I got the dome from has a complete first gen light). I figure it's worth putting a video up just to give proof LED Highlighters were made in magenta/purple (though the LEDs were white). I'm selling this light, so it was now or never.
To my knowledge, this is the only purple LED light offered stock by Federal Signal or Whelen. I believe you can special order purple SLR pods (at least I saw a listing for them somewhere some time ago) and you can obviously put purple LFL Edge lenses over white 500 modules, but neither are a stock purple offering.
Of note, I do not show all of the flash patterns. There are a few changing flash speed cycle type patterns and a few other speed variations of patterns I do show.
