Filming India's BIRDS OF PARADISE - Part Of The Flock Ep.6 | Bird Photography in the Western Ghats

Here's bringing you the series finale (episode 6) of Part Of The Flock, a bird photography series where I up close to wild birds!

Titled 'Another Day In Paradise', this episode ventures once again into the stunning Western Ghats to capture the mesmerizing beauty of the Indian Paradise Flycatcher in action. I saw this species for the first time when i was 10 years old, and it took two long decades until i saw it again in 2021.

This episode dives straight into one of the last remaining waterholes that’s a lifeline for jungle birds amidst rising temperatures, as spring turns into summer. Filmed over the last 5 years, I’ve witnessed several moments of breathtaking bird behaviour, and the intense competition for water between species.

From a sneaky Black-Naped Monarch navigating its bathing rights, to a Greater Racket-Tailed Drongo mimicking a Crested Hawk-Eagle, we'll get an intimate glimpse of various avian personalities like never before.
