Hi Guys,
This was one of the most challenging walks we have ever undertaken.
Originally we planned on wild camping just past the summit of Cairn Gorm however with temperatures of -20, the adverse weather conditions and unstable environment, it meant we had to bail and stay at a resort just down the road.
Although we were defeated on this occasion, we made the most of our time in the Highlands of Scotland summiting Britain's 6th largest mountain (standing at 1,245 meters) the highest either of us has ever been, and honing our mountaineering skills for future endeavours.
So sit back relax and enjoy 10 minutes of winter walking in some of Britain's harshest conditions.
We loved every second and we will be back in the future.
