Professor Quirinus Quirrel as we know was quite a timid man. He was someone who definitely seemed to have some issues and I don’t just mean his stuttering speech. Behind his shy and what appears to be nervous nature, Quirrell had a deeper motive, he was the supporting vessel for Voldemort in order for the dark lord to continue to sustain life, something that was a shock to discover but when we analyse the mans character and what he went through, actually doesn’t seem so surprising so thats the question I’m going to answer today.
