You are an Assassin AU/Xover

A wonderful tumblr-er who's name I've lost in the mass of information that is my dashboard posted a download for a ton of assassin's creed voiceovers and I HAD to make this. Lemme tell you, I was flipping the hell out for like 20 minutes as the story was forming in my head xD If anyone else had been home at the time, they'd of thought me crazy xD

Anyway, the storyline isn't too crazy compared to some of my other Xovers but I'll throw up a short description anyway:

Zira is herself, except she never got to send Kovu on his mission to win Kiara's heart because Scar never suceeded in his mission to kill Mufasa. In this storyline, Zira is the mastermind behind everything.
Kovu is sent to kill Mufasa and suceeds, but his heart is torn when he sees Mufasa's son mourning the loss of his father. Kovu was never told why Mufasa had to die, so he had little conviction toward the murder.
Kovu tells Zira that he can't be part of her group anymore, and flees the responsibilities of an Assassin.
Kovu is met by Scar-- Mufasa's brother-- and Scar explains that he was once and Assassin for Zira but when Zira put of the call for Mufasa's head, Scar got to the end of the mission but failed because he couldn't let his brother slip away. Scar fled and Zira sent another Assassin to kill Mufasa.
Kovu is horrified, not quite realizing that he was the one who finished Scar's job and Scar shows that the almost-murder of his brother and the previous murders he committed are corroding his sanity.
