In Columbia there is a river with full of colours so it's called rainbow river or liquid rainbow river.lets find out the mystery behind it. The river have a plant called macrania clavigera .generally all plants have chlorophyll so they are in green colour but this plant have both carotenoids and chlorophyll so when sunlight hits these plants the carotenoids activate and turn into red blue green and yellow colours.this carotene is responsible for fruits, flowers, and leaves colour. From June to November mostly in rainy season this river looks so beautiful.
