Mahendragiri Hills in Monsoon, My Toughest Off-Road | 2nd Highest Peak @ 4925 Fts | Odisha Dekho

Mahendragiri the 2nd highest mountain peak of odisha with peak height of 4925 feets. In October 2019 we unsuccessfully tried to conquer the hills in monsoon with R3OG odisha biker group.

It's a known Shaiva khetra in Ganjam, Gajapati and neighbouring state Andhra pradesh as lord Parshuram of Ramayan a cheeranjibi had achieved his penance by worshiping lord Shiva here.

Apart from that it also draws nature lovers, treckkers, campers and off road adventure lovers alike for the scenic view from mountain peak, clean air, un-polluted surroundings and much more.

You will also find the stone temples built by Pandavas during their exile period here.

So, it's a great tourism place but not much tourism development are done till date and road work has just started. That also makes it a very pure and untouched mountain.

Later on in 2020 January we again tried going to top with xbhp bhubaneswar group and succesfully camped for overnight there.
