Today’s run was a strictly by-the-plan 6 mile race-pace workout. No extra miles, no going faster “just because,” and no pushing past what’s prescribed. Staying in the zone now keeps me from ending up injured, exhausted, or blowing up on race day. Trusting the plan is what gets us to that sub-4 finish line!
