This is the view from the front car on the Comet at Waldameer Park in Erie, Pennsylvania. The Comet was built in 1951 and is considered a junior rollercoaster. The lift hill is approximately 40 feet high and the coaster is approximately 1200 feet long. This coaster designed by Herbert Paul Schmeck is one classic wooden coaster. With Buzz-Bars and no seat dividers, this ride harkens to the joys of yesterday. Get your Red/Blue 3D Glasses and give it a ride!!!
