Kiplin Hall is a beautifully preserved Jacobean historic house near Richmond, North Yorkshire, with over 400 years of rich history. Built between 1622 and 1625 by George Calvert, the 1st Baron Baltimore and founder of Maryland in the USA, it has seen generations of English aristocracy and artistry. The Hall features striking red brick architecture with unique corner towers, elegant Victorian interior additions, and exquisite Arts and Crafts movement craftsmanship. It served various roles including a WWII RAF maintenance unit. Today, Kiplin Hall is open to the public as a museum showcasing its fascinating heritage, stunning gardens, and exhibitions linking English history to the founding of Maryland. It’s a perfect destination for history enthusiasts and lovers of grand country estates.
