Notas de performance para Lilás:

Quando a parte do sax tenor se divide em 2 vozes, um dos tenores deve tocar a nota superior, caso não houver saxes altos.

No S há uma pausa de 2 compassos para percussão e tuba na 1ª vez, mas na volta ao S não.

O solo de trompete no Coda precisa se destacar sobre o som da banda – é melhor tocar no registro agudo.

Os 4 primeiros compassos podem ser repetidos em forma de vamp para criar expectativa antes de começar (opcional).

Na letra F os músicos devem cantar e bater palmas junto com a figura do bumbo.

Performance notes for Lilás:

When the tenor sax part splits into 2, one of the tenor players should play the top note if there are no altos.

At the Sign there is a 2 bar percussion and tuba drop 1st time, but not on the D.S.

The trumpet solo at the Coda has to soar over the sound of the band - better to play in the upper register.

The first 4 bars could be repeated as a vamp to build anticipation before the tune starts proper.

At F the musicians sing and clap along with the bass drum figure.
