“Transitioning hair: Natural vs. stringy ends ✂️ Would you cut it off?”

In this video, I’m showing you what transitioning natural hair looks like. My client’s hair is natural from the root to midstream, but the ends are stringy from previous straightening/heat damage.

She came in for a trim (about 1–2 inches), and we discussed the importance of removing those stringy ends to go fully natural. Even though she chose to keep some length for upcoming braids and ponytails, she rebooked for another appointment after learning how much this impacts her hair health.

✨ The biggest takeaway: open communication between stylist and client is key. I’ll always educate you, but the decision is ultimately yours.
