My New Guitar Day Goes Wrong.... Eastman QC Dropping?

Huge thanks to my misses for this surprise, She's heard me banging on about these guitars since i had to sell my T486 and tried to get me this for my birthday but none was available, so late birthday early xmas present and i'm very grateful!

I'd love to know what you guys would have done here, would you have returned it, stuck with it? I'm glad I stuck with it, it was a small issue on a great guitar well worth sticking it out. Does it show Eastmans QC has slipped? Maybe. Peach guitars were apologetic and happy to share the cost of the fix, They made a small mistake which is forgivable, handled it well enough.
