It’s Intentional Thursday w/D. Ralph and this is the day that the Lord has made, we shall rejoice and be glad in it.

Scripture Lesson: Numbers 21:6-9 (Amplified Bible)
Lesson Title: “Look Up and Live”

The Message: Life is a gift from God. We often take it for granted until something happens to threaten our enjoyment of life. Whenever our comfort is disturbed we murmur and complain, we blame God and those he has put here to lead us. We completely forget about everything God has ever done for us previously.

God allows Satan to bring plagues and afflictions, but offers humanity a way to escape. Despite its simplicity, many refuse to believe and “Look Up and Live” but would rather follow Satan’s lead to eternal destruction.

The central theme or core (if you will) of the message is that Salvation is by Faith, Not Works. Just as the people didn't earn their healing by doing something other than looking, salvation is a gift received through faith in Jesus' sacrifice, not by good deeds alone. Be reminded that God is the source and strength of life, and through this son Jesus Christ He’s offering rescue from sin and death, the gift of eternal Life to all who believe. This Christian life requires continuous "looking" or focusing on Jesus for guidance and sanctification throughout the journey
